நிச்சயமாக நாம் உங்களை ஓரளவு அச்சத்தாலும் பசியாலும் பொருள்கள் உயிர்கள் விளைச்சல்கள் ஆகியவற்றின் இழப்பினாலும் சோதிப்போம் ஆனால் பொறுமையுடையோருக்கு நபியே நீர் நன்மாராயங் கூறுவீராக
And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits but give good tidings to the patient
சந்தேகமில்லாத அந்த இறுதி நாளில் அவர்களையெல்லாம் நாம் ஒன்று சேர்த்து ஒவ்வோர் ஆத்மாவுக்கும் அது சம்பாதித்ததற்கு உரியதை முழுமையாகக் கொடுக்கப்படும்போது அவர்களுடைய நிலை எப்படியிருக்கும் அவர்கள் தம் வினைகளுக்குரிய பலன் பெருவதில் அநியாயம் செய்யப்பட மாட்டார்கள்
So how will it be when We assemble them for a Day about which there is no doubt And each soul will be compensated in full for what it earned and they will not be wronged
நபியே நாம் உம் மீது ஓதிக்காட்டிய இவை நற்சான்றுகளைக் கொண்ட இறை வசனங்களாகவும் ஞானம் நிரம்பிய நற்செய்தியாகவும் இருக்கின்றன
This is what We recite to you O Muhammad of Our verses and the precise and wise message
இன்னும் அவர்களை உடனுக்குடன் தண்டிக்காமல் நாம் தாமதிப்பது அந்த காஃபிர்களுக்கு நிராகரிப்பவர்களுக்கு நல்லது என்று அவர்கள் கருத வேண்டாம் தண்டனையை நாம் அவர்களுக்குத் தாமதப் படுத்துவதெல்லாம் அவர்கள் பாவத்தை அதிகமாக்குவதற்கே தான் அவர்களுக்கு இழிவு தரும் வேதனையும் உண்டு
And let not those who disbelieve ever think that because We extend their time of enjoyment it is better for them We only extend it for them so that they may increase in sin and for them is a humiliating punishment
காகிதத்தில் எழுதப்பட்ட ஒரு வேதத்தையே நாம் உம் மீது இறக்கி வைத்து அதனை அவர்கள் தம் கைகளால் தொட்டுப் பார்த்தபோதிலும் இது பகிரங்கமான சூனியத்தைத்தவிர வேறில்லை என்று அந்நிராகரிப்போர் நிச்சயமாக சொல்வார்கள்
And even if We had sent down to you O Muhammad a written scripture on a page and they touched it with their hands the disbelievers would say This is not but obvious magic

இவர் உண்மையான தூதர் என்று சாட்சி கூற இவர் மீது ஒரு மலக்கு இறக்கப்பட வேண்டாமா என அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர் அவ்வாறு நாம் ஒரு மலக்கை இறக்கி வைப்போமானால் அவர்களுடைய காரியம் முடிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் பிறகு அவர்களுக்குச் சிறிதும் அவகாசம் கொடுக்கப்படமாட்டாது
And they say Why was there not sent down to him an angel But if We had sent down an angel the matter would have been decided then they would not be reprieved
அவர்களுக்கு நினைவூட்டப்பட்ட நற்போதனைகளை அவர்கள் மறந்துவிட்ட போது அவர்களுக்கு முதலில் எல்லாப் பொருட்களின் வாயில்களையும் நாம் திறந்து விட்டோம் பின்னர் அவர்களுக்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்டதைக் கொண்டு அவர்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியடைந்து கொண்டிருந்த வேளை நம் வேதனையைக் கொண்டு அவர்களை திடீரெனப் பிடித்துக் கொண்டோம் அப்போது அவர்கள் நம்பிக்கை இழந்தவர்களாக ஆகிவிட்டனர்
So when they forgot that by which they had been reminded We opened to them the doors of every good thing until when they rejoiced in that which they were given We seized them suddenly and they were then in despair
மேலும் நாம் அவர்களுடைய உள்ளங்களையும் அவர்களுடைய பார்வைகளையும் திருப்பிவிடுவோம் அவர்கள் முதலில் இதை நம்பாமல் இருந்தது போலவே இன்னும் அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய வழி கேட்டிலேயே தட்டழிந்து திரியுமாறு அவர்களை நாம் விட்டுவிடுவோம்
And We will turn away their hearts and their eyes just as they refused to believe in it the first time And We will leave them in their transgression wandering blindly
மேலும் இவ்வாறே ஒவ்வோர் ஊரிலும் குற்றவாளிகளின் தலைவர்களை நாம் ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறோம் அதில் அவர்கள் சூழ்ச்சி செய்வதற்காக ஆயினும் அவர்கள் தங்களுக்கே சூழ்ச்சி செய்து கொள்கிறார்கள் இதை அவர்கள் உணருவதில்லை
And thus We have placed within every city the greatest of its criminals to conspire therein But they conspire not except against themselves and they perceive it not
பாவிகள் வாழ்ந்து வந்த எத்தனையோ ஊர்களை நாம் அழித்திருக்கிறோம் நமது வேதனை அவர்களைத் திடீரென இரவிலோ அல்லது களைப்பாறுவதற்காகப் பகலில் தூங்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் போதோ வந்தடைந்தது
And how many cities have We destroyed and Our punishment came to them at night or while they were sleeping at noon
