Important words and phrases in Marathi (For beginners)

Marathi is a member of the Indo-Aryan branch of the Indo-European language family. Marathi is one the 22 official languages of India. Marathi is derived from Sanskrit and Prakrit and is spoken by around 72 million people as their first language. It is a language spoken majorly in Maharashtra. The other states where Marathi is spoken are Goa, Karnataka and some parts of Madhya Pradesh.
Learning Marathi
Learning a new language is always fun and exciting. It can get a little challenging for beginners at first, but with constant practice and hard work, this language is not very difficult. Marathi is considered as a flexible language. If you ever get stuck while talking or fail to find an appropriate word, you can always use English words.

How are you? (This is used for males of your age or someone who is younger.) | तू कसा आहेस?
