ਤੇਲੰਗਾਨਾ: ਇੱਕ ਮਈ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਦੱਖਣ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਨੇ 196 ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸ਼੍ਰਮਿਕ ਰੇਲਾਂ 2.40 ਲੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਸੀ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਤਰੀ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ।ਤੇਲੰਗਾਨਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ 50,000 ਪ੍ਰਵਾਸੀ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿੱਤਰੀ ਟਿਕਾਣਿਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 46 ਰੇਲਾਂ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਅਭਿਆਨ ਚਲਾਇਆ।
Telangana: From May 1st onwards till date, the South Central Railway has run 196 Shramik special trains transporting over 2.40 lakh migrant workers from the state to their native destinations.

Round the clock monitoring at Railway Board level, onal Railway level and Divisional level is being done to ensure that trains are not delayed.

IRCTC and Railways have mobilized resources to ensure regular supply of meals and water to the Shramik Special trains and minimize inconvenience to the passengers.

In addition to Shramik specials Railways are running 15 pairs of special trains connecting New Delhi and plans to start 200 more time tables trains on 1st June.

ਰੇਲਵੇ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲਸ ਦੇ ਅਡਵਾਂਸ ਰਿਜ਼ਰਵੇਸ਼ਨ ਪੀਰੀਅਡ (ਏਆਰਪੀ) ਨੂੰ 30 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ 120 ਦਿਨ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
Ministry of Railways has decided to increase the advance reservation period (ARP) of all Specials notified from 30 days to 120 days.

While Railways have been able to place rakes on demand by States for Shramik Specials, there have been several instances where the passengers have not been brought to the station and notified trains have been cancelled.
ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਿਤੀ 01.05.2020ਅਤੇ19.05.2020 ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਆਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤਹਿਤ, ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਰਾਜ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਫਸੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਲਈ ਸ਼੍ਰਮਿਕ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਾਂ ਚਲਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
Under the orders issued by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) dated 01.05.2020 and 19.05.2020, Indian Railways (IR) have been operating Shramik Special Trains for movement of stranded persons, in coordination with the state governments.
