बेशक जो लोग राहे हिदायत साफ़ साफ़ मालूम होने के बाद उलटे पाँव (कुफ़्र की तरफ) फिर गये शैतान ने उन्हें (बुते देकर) ढील दे रखी है और उनकी (तमन्नाओं) की रस्सियाँ दराज़ कर दी हैं
Lo! those who turn back after the guidance hath been manifested unto them, Satan hath seduced them, and He giveth them the rein.
जान रखो ! जो कोई भी आकाशों में है और जो कोई धरती में है, अल्लाह ही का है। जो लोग अल्लाह को छोड़कर दूसरे साझीदारों को पुकारते है, वे आखिर किसका अनुसरण करते है? वे तो केवल अटकल पर चलते है और वे निरे अटकले दौड़ाते है
Lo! verily Allah's is whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is on the earth. And what is it that they who call unto associate - gods beside Allah follow They follow but an opinion, and they are but conjecturing.
आगाह रहो इसमें शक़ नहीं कि जो लोग आसमानों में हैं और जो लोग ज़मीन में है (ग़रज़ सब कुछ) ख़ुदा ही के लिए है और जो लोग ख़ुदा को छोड़कर (दूसरों को) पुकारते हैं वह तो (ख़ुदा के फर्ज़ी) शरीकों की राह पर भी नहीं चलते बल्कि वह तो सिर्फ अपनी अटकल पर चलते हैं और वह सिर्फ वहमी और ख्याली बातें किया करते हैं

ख़बरदार हो जाओ बेशक यही लोग फसादी हैं लेकिन समझते नहीं
Lo! verily it is they who are the corrupters, and yet they perceive not.
वे लोग कुछ जाने-बूझे बिना घाटे में रहे, जिन्होंने मूर्खता के कारण अपनी सन्तान की हत्या की और जो कुछ अल्लाह ने उन्हें प्रदान किया था, उसे अल्लाह पर झूठ घड़कर हराम ठहरा दिया। वास्तव में वे भटक गए और वे सीधा मार्ग पानेवाले न हुए
Lost are those who kill their children foolishly, with no basis in knowledge, and forbid what God has provided for them — innovations about God. They have gone astray. They are not guided.

(ऐ ईमानदारों) जिस तरह तुम में से एक दूसरे को (नाम ले कर) बुलाया करते हैं उस तरह आपस में रसूल का बुलाना न समझो ख़ुदा उन लोग ों को खूब जानता है जो तुम में से ऑंख बचा के (पैग़म्बर के पास से) खिसक जाते हैं-तो जो लोग उसके हुक्म की मुख़ालफत करते हैं उनको इस बात से डरते रहना चाहिए कि (मुबादा) उन पर कोई मुसीबत आ पडे या उन पर कोई दर्दनाक अज़ाब नाज़िल हो
Make not the calling of the messenger among you as your calling one of another. Allah knoweth those of you who steal away, hiding themselves. And let those who conspire to evade orders beware lest grief or painful punishment befall them.
