नहीं बल्कि वह घड़ी है जिसका समय उनके लिए नियत है और वह बड़ी आपदावाली और कटु घड़ी है
Rather the Hour is their encounter And that Hour will be most calamitous and bitter
निश्चय ही वह क़ियामत की घड़ी आनेवाली है शीघ्र ही उसे लाऊँगा उसे छिपाए रखता हूँ ताकि प्रत्येक व्यक्ति जो प्रयास वह करता है उसका बदला पाए
Indeed the Hour is coming I almost conceal it so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives
कह दो तुम्हारे लिए एक विशेष दिन की अवधि नियत है जिससे न एक घड़ी भर पीछे हटोगे और न आगे बढ़ोगे
Say For you is the appointment of a Day when you will not remain thereafter an hour nor will you precede it
अर्थात आग ने जिसके सामने वे प्रातःकाल और सायंकाल पेश किए जाते है और जिन दिन क़ियामत की घड़ी घटित होगी कहा जाएगा फ़िरऔन के लोगों को निकृष्ट तम यातना में प्रविष्टी कराओ
The Fire they are exposed to it morning and evening And the Day the Hour appears it will be said Make the people of Pharaoh enter the severest punishment
निश्चय ही वह उस घड़ी जिसका वादा किया गया है के ज्ञान का साधन है अतः तुम उसके बारे में संदेह न करो और मेरा अनुसरण करो यही सीधा मार्ग है
And indeed Jesus will be a sign for knowledge of the Hour so be not in doubt of it and follow Me This is a straight path

क्या वे बस उस क़ियामत की घड़ी की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे है कि वह सहसा उनपर आ पड़े और उन्हें ख़बर भी न हो
Are they waiting except for the Hour to come upon them suddenly while they perceive not
बड़ी ही बरकतवाली है वह सत्ता जिसके अधिकार में है आकाशों और धरती की बादशाही और जो कुछ उन दिनों के बीच है उसकी भी और उसी के पास उस घड़ी का ज्ञान है और उसी की ओर तुम लौटाए जाओगे
And blessed is He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them and with whom is knowledge of the Hour and to whom you will be returned
अब क्या वे लोग बस उस घड़ी की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे है कि वह उनपर अचानक आ जाए उसके लक्षण तो सामने आ चुके है जब वह स्वयं भी उनपर आ जाएगी तो फिर उनके लिए होश में आने का अवसर कहाँ शेष रहेगा
Then do they await except that the Hour should come upon them unexpectedly But already there have come some of its indications Then what good to them when it has come will be their remembrance
नहीं बल्कि वह घड़ी है जिसका समय उनके लिए नियत है और वह बड़ी आपदावाली और कटु घड़ी है
But the Hour is their appointment for due punishment and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter
वे तुमसे उस घड़ी के विषय में पूछते है कि वह कब आकर ठहरेगी
They ask you O Muhammad about the Hour when is its arrival
