जब ईसा स्पष्ट प्रमाणों के साथ आया तो उसने कहा, ' मैं तुम्हारे पास तत्वदर्शिता लेकर आया हूँ (ताकि उसकी शिक्षा तुम्हें दूँ) और ताकि कुछ ऐसी बातें तुमपर खोल दूँ, जिनमं तुम मतभेद करते हो। अतः अल्लाह का डर रखो और मेरी बात मानो
When Jesus came with the clarifications, he said, 'I have come to you with wisdom, and to clarify for you some of what you differ about. So fear God, and obey me.
जब दूसरे सारे जानवर बांबी के पास जुटे तो वे भी शेर से डर गए और उन्होंने भी कहा कि अब तो वे चूजे के बच्चे हो गए हैं।
When all the animals had collected at the ant heap they too became afraid of Lion and agreed that the chicks were Lion's children.

और जब उससे कहा जाता है, ' अल्लाह से डर ', तो अहंकार उसे और गुनाह पर जमा देता है। अतः उसके लिए तो जहन्नम ही काफ़ी है, और वह बहुत-ही बुरी शय्या है !
When he is told, 'Have fear of God,' he is seized by pride which drives him to wrongdoing. Hell shall be enough for him. A dreadful resting place.
जब राजा ने उन्हें देखा तो वह डर गया।

और जब उससे कहा जाता है, ' अल्लाह से डर ', तो अहंकार उसे और गुनाह पर जमा देता है। अतः उसके लिए तो जहन्नम ही काफ़ी है, और वह बहुत-ही बुरी शय्या है !
When they are asked to have fear of God, sinful pride prevents them from paying heed to such advice. It is enough for them to have hell as a terrible dwelling place.
जो डर रखते हैं, उन्हें जब शैतान की ओर से कोई ख़याल छू जाता है, तो वे चौंक उठते हैं। फिर वे साफ़ देखने लगते हैं
When those who are Godwary are touched by a visitation of Satan, they remember [ Allah ] and, behold, they perceive.
अतः जहाँ तक तुम्हारे बस में हो अल्लाह का डर रखो और सुनो और आज्ञापालन करो और ख़र्च करो अपनी भलाई के लिए। और जो अपने मन के लोभ एवं कृपणता से सुरक्षित रहा तो ऐसे ही लोग सफल है
Wherefore fear Allah as much as ye are able, and hearken and obey, and expend, for the benefit of your souls. And whosoever is protected from niggardliness of his soul - those! they are the blissful.
