ऐ ईमानदारों जिन लोगों (यहूद व नसारा) को तुम से पहले किताबे (ख़ुदा तौरेत, इन्जील) दी जा चुकी है उनमें से जिन लोगों ने तुम्हारे दीन को हॅसी खेल बना रखा है उनको और कुफ्फ़ार को अपना सरपरस्त न बनाओ और अगर तुम सच्चे ईमानदार हो तो ख़ुदा ही से डरते रहो

Believers! Do not seek the friendship of those who were given the Book before you or the disbelievers who ridicule your religion and make a jest of it. Have fear of God, if you are true believers.

ऐ ईमानदारों जिन लोगों (यहूद व नसारा) को तुम से पहले किताबे (ख़ुदा तौरेत, इन्जील) दी जा चुकी है उनमें से जिन लोगों ने तुम्हारे दीन को हॅसी खेल बना रखा है उनको और कुफ्फ़ार को अपना सरपरस्त न बनाओ और अगर तुम सच्चे ईमानदार हो तो ख़ुदा ही से डरते रहो

Believers! Do not take for your allies those who make a mockery and sport of your faith, be they those given the Book before you or other unbelievers. Fear Allah if you indeed believe.

ऐ ईमानदारों अगर तुम लोगों ने काफ़िरों की पैरवी कर ली तो (याद रखो) वह तुमको उलटे पॉव (कुफ़्र की तरफ़) फेर कर ले जाऐंगे फिर उलटे तुम ही घाटे में आ जाओगे

Believers! If you follow those who deny the Truth, they will drive you back on your heels, and you will turn about, losers.

ऐ ईमानदारों अगर तुम ख़ुदा (के दीन) की मदद करोगे तो वह भी तुम्हारी मदद करेगा और तुम्हें साबित क़दम रखेगा

Believers! If you succour God, He will succour you and make your footsteps firm.

ऐ ईमान वालों अगर तुमने अहले किताब के किसी फ़िरके क़ा भी कहना माना तो (याद रखो कि) वह तुमको ईमान लाने के बाद (भी) फिर दुबारा काफ़िर बना छोडेंग़े

Believers! Were you to obey a party of those who were given the Book, they might cause you to renounce the Truth after you have attained to faith.

ऐ ईमानदारों जिन लोगों (यहूद व नसारा) को तुम से पहले किताबे (ख़ुदा तौरेत, इन्जील) दी जा चुकी है उनमें से जिन लोगों ने तुम्हारे दीन को हॅसी खेल बना रखा है उनको और कुफ्फ़ार को अपना सरपरस्त न बनाओ और अगर तुम सच्चे ईमानदार हो तो ख़ुदा ही से डरते रहो

Believers, do not consider those among the People of the Book and the unbelievers who mock at your religion and treat it as useless, as your protectors. Have fear of God if you are true believers.

ऐ ईमानदारों जिन लोगों (यहूद व नसारा) को तुम से पहले किताबे (ख़ुदा तौरेत, इन्जील) दी जा चुकी है उनमें से जिन लोगों ने तुम्हारे दीन को हॅसी खेल बना रखा है उनको और कुफ्फ़ार को अपना सरपरस्त न बनाओ और अगर तुम सच्चे ईमानदार हो तो ख़ुदा ही से डरते रहो

Believers, do not take as guides those who were given the Book before you who have made of your religion a jest and a pastime, nor the unbelievers. Have fear of Allah, if you are believers.

ऐ ईमानदारों जो कुछ हम ने तुम्हें दिया है उस में से सुथरी चीज़ें (शौक़ से) खाओं और अगर ख़ुदा ही की इबादत करते हो तो उसी का शुक्र करो

Believers, eat from the good things that We have given you and give thanks to God if you worship only Him.

ऐ ईमानदारों जो कुछ हम ने तुम्हें दिया है उस में से सुथरी चीज़ें (शौक़ से) खाओं और अगर ख़ुदा ही की इबादत करते हो तो उसी का शुक्र करो

Believers, eat of the good with which We have provided you and give thanks to Allah, if you really worship Him.

ऐ ईमानदारों जो कुछ हम ने तुम्हें दिया है उस में से सुथरी चीज़ें (शौक़ से) खाओं और अगर ख़ुदा ही की इबादत करते हो तो उसी का शुक्र करो

Believers, eat the wholesome things which We have provided for you and give thanks to God, if it is Him you worship.
