इस अवसर पर वित्त मंत्रालय के आर्थिक मामलों के विभाग में अपर सचिव श्री समीर कुमार खरे ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड सरकार ने पिछले दशक के दौरान अपनी सार्वजनिक वित्तीय प्रबंधन प्रणालियों को सुदृढ़ करने की दिशा में कई कदम उठाए हैं।
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sameer Kumar Khare, Additional Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance said that the Government of Uttarakhand has worked over the last decade to strengthen its Public Financial Management Systems.
उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि विश्व बैंक से सहायता प्राप्त इस परियोजना से राज्य को सार्वजनिक वित्त से जुड़े मामलों में अपनी जवाबदेही बढ़ाने एवं उत्तराखंड में राजस्व प्रबंधन प्रणालियों को और ज्यादा कारगर बनाने में मदद मिलेगी।
He further said that the World Bank supported Project will help the State enhance accountability in public finances and increase effectiveness of revenue management systems in Uttarakhand.
उपर्युक्त परियोजना से कर एवं गैर-कर राजस्व के प्रबंधन सहित सार्वजनिक वित्त के प्रबंधन की और अधिक पारदर्शी एवं सक्षम प्रणाली का सृजन होगा जिससे उत्तराखंड के लोग लाभान्वित होंगे।
The Project will benefit the citizens of Uttarakhand by creating a more transparent and efficient system of management of public finances, including administration of tax and non-tax revenues.
परियोजना से जुड़े टास्क टीम लीडर श्री कृष्णमूर्ति शंकरनारायणन और श्री पुनीत कपूर ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड सार्वजनिक वित्तीय प्रबंधन सुदृढ़ीकरण परियोजना राज्य स्तर पर विश्व बैंक की सार्वजनिक वित्तीय प्रबंधन सहभागिता का एक हिस्सा है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह हिमाचल प्रदेश, असम, राजस्थान और छत्तीसगढ़ में इसी तरह की परियोजनाओं की तर्ज पर है।
Puneet Kapoor, the Task Team Leaders for the Project said that the Uttarakhand Public Financial Management Strengthening Project is part of World Bank's Public Financial Management Engagements at the State Level, following similar Projects in Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh.
इसी तरह इस परियोजना से उत्तराखंड को अपनी विकास जरूरतों के लिए संसाधनों की ज्यादा उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित करने हेतु अपने राजस्व आधार को बढ़ाने में मदद मिलेगी। इसके साथ ही परियोजना से उत्तराखंड को सार्वजनिक संसाधनों से संबंधित जवाबदेही बढ़ाने के लिए अपनी सार्वजनिक वित्तीय प्रबंधन प्रणालियों को मजबूत करने में भी काफी सहयोग मिलेगा।
The Project will help Uttarakhand to improve its revenue base for greater availability of resources for its development needs and strengthen its Public Financial Management Systems to enhance accountability of public resources.
