उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान समय में, पंजाब में एक लाख करोड़ रुपये की परियोजनाओं पर काम चल रहा हैं, जिसमें 60 हजार करोड़ रुपये की सड़क परियोजनाए और 40 हजार करोड़ रुपये की सिंचाई परियोजनाए शामिल हैं।
He said that projects worth Rs One lakh crore are underway in Punjab at present which include road projects of Rs 60 thousand crore and irrigation projects of Rs 40 thousand crore.

He further said that to check over exploitation of ground water, inter basin transfer of river water, micro irrigation techniques and recycle and reuse of water is the need of the hour.
