One whose chest (heart and mind) is left open for Islam (submission to His will) shall receive light from God. Woe to those whose hearts have become like stone against the remembrance of God. They are clearly in error.
तो क्या वह शख्स जिस के सीने को खुदा ने (क़ुबूल) इस्लाम के लिए कुशादा कर दिया है तो वह अपने परवरदिगार (की हिदायत) की रौशनी पर (चलता) है मगर गुमराहों के बराबर हो सकता है अफसोस तो उन लोगों पर है जिनके दिल खुदा की याद से (ग़ाफ़िल होकर) सख्त हो गए हैं

अब क्या वह व्यक्ति जिसका सीना (हृदय) अल्लाह ने इस्लाम के लिए खोल दिया, अतः वह अपने रब की ओर से प्रकाश पर है, (उस व्यक्ति के समान होगा जो कठोर हृदय और अल्लाह की याद से ग़ाफ़िल है)? अतः तबाही है उन लोगों के लिए जिनके दि कठोर हो चुके है, अल्लाह की याद से ख़ाली होकर ! वही खुली गुमराही में पड़े हुए है
Only God Who has created the heavens, the earth, darkness, and light deserves all praise. The disbelievers consider other things equal to Him.
सब तारीफ ख़ुदा ही को (सज़ावार) है जिसने बहुतेरे आसमान और ज़मीन को पैदा किया और उसमें मुख्तलिफ क़िस्मों की तारीकी रोशनी बनाई फिर (बावजूद उसके) कुफ्फार (औरों को) अपने परवरदिगार के बराबर करते हैं

साधारणतः उसमे अन्ध पार्थिव जड़ता और विक्षुब्ध एवं अज्ञ पाशव जीवन-शक्ति इतनी अधिक होती है कि वह प्रकाशमय और आनन्दमय आत्मा नहीं बन सकता, बल्कि वह समस्वर सकंल्प और ज्ञान से युक्त मन भी नहीं बन सकता।
