He said Do you remember when we rested by the rock I forgot about the fish It was only the devil who made me forget it And so it found its way to the river amazingly
फिर जब वे दोनों संगम पर पहुँचे तो वे अपनी मछली से ग़ाफ़िल हो गए और उस मछली ने दरिया में सुरंह बनाती अपनी राह ली
But when they reached the point where the two rivers meet they forgot their fish and it took its way into the sea as if through a tunnel
ख्वाह अगर मुलाक़ात न हो तो बरसों यूँ ही चलता जाऊँगा फिर जब ये दोनों उन दोनों दरियाओं के मिलने की जगह पहुँचे तो अपनी भुनी हुई मछली छोड़ चले तो उसने दरिया में सुरंग बनाकर अपनी राह ली
But when they reached the point where the two rivers meet they forgot their fish and it took its way into the sea as if through a tunnel
तो हमने उनकी दुआ सुन ली और उन्हें यहया सा बेटा अता किया और हमने उनके लिए उनकी बीबी को अच्छी बता दिया इसमें शक नहीं कि ये सब नेक कामों में जल्दी करते थे और हमको बड़ी रग़बत और ख़ौफ के साथ पुकारा करते थे और हमारे आगे गिड़गिड़ाया करते थे
So We accepted his prayer and bestowed upon him John and We made his wife fit to bear a child Verily they hastened in doing good works and called upon Us with longing and fear and humbled themselves to Us

उसने कहा ज़रा देखिए तो सही जब हम उस चट्टान के पास ठहरे हुए थे तो मैं मछली को भूल ही गया और शैतान ही ने उसको याद रखने से मुझे ग़ाफ़िल कर दिया और उसने आश्चर्य रूप से दरिया में अपनी राह ली

अतः हमने उसकी प्रार्थना स्वीकार कर ली और उसे याह्या् प्रदान किया और उसके लिए उसकी पत्नी को स्वस्थ कर दिया निश्चय ही वे नेकी के कामों में एक दूसरे के मुक़ाबले में जल्दी करते थे और हमें ईप्सा चाह और भय के साथ पुकारते थे और हमारे आगे दबे रहते थे
So We answered his prayer and gave him John and cured for him his wife of infertility Indeed they were active in performing good works and they would supplicate Us with eagerness and awe and were humble before Us
तो हमने उनकी दुआ सुन ली और उन्हें यहया सा बेटा अता किया और हमने उनके लिए उनकी बीबी को अच्छी बता दिया इसमें शक नहीं कि ये सब नेक कामों में जल्दी करते थे और हमको बड़ी रग़बत और ख़ौफ के साथ पुकारा करते थे और हमारे आगे गिड़गिड़ाया करते थे

और ये कुफ्फ़ार उन माबूदों के लशकर हैं और क़यामत में उन सबकी हाज़िरी ली जाएगी
But they cannot help them while they themselves are an army mobilized for their defence
