New paths
ऐ रसूल तुम कह दो कि ऐ अहले किताब तुम अपने दीन में नाहक़ ज्यादती न करो और न उन लोगों अपने बुज़ुगों की नफ़सियानी ख्वाहिशों पर चलो जो पहले ख़ुद ही गुमराह हो चुके और अपने साथ और भी बहुतेरों को गुमराह कर छोड़ा और राहे रास्त से दूर भटक गए
Tell them O people of the Book do not overstep the bounds of truth in your beliefs and follow not the wishes of a people who had erred before and led many others astray and wandered away from the right path
वह वही है जिसने तुम्हारे फ़ायदे के वास्ते ज़मीन को बिछौना बनाया और तुम्हारे लिए उसमें राहे ं निकाली और उसी ने आसमान से पानी बरसाया फिर खुदा फरमाता है कि हम ही ने उस पानी के ज़रिए से मुख्तलिफ़ क़िस्मों की घासे निकाली
It is He who made the earth a bed for you and traced for you paths upon it and sends down water from the sky and brings out through it every kind of vegetation
या वह शख़्श जो सीधा बराबर राहे रास्त पर चल रहा हो ऐ रसूल तुम कह दो कि ख़ुदा तो वही है जिसने तुमको नित नया पैदा किया
Will he find the way who grovels flat on his face or he who walks straight on the right path
और उसको अच्छी बुरी दोनों राहे ं भी दिखा दीं
And showed him two highways of good and evil

ऐ रसूल क्या तूमने उन लोगों के हाल पर नज़र नहीं की जिन्हें किताबे ख़ुदा का कुछ हिस्सा दिया गया था मगर वह लोग हिदायत के बदले गुमराही ख़रीदने लगे उनकी ऐन मुराद यह है कि तुम भी राहे रास्त से बहक जाओ
Did you not see those who received a portion of the Book that they purchase error and wish that you too go astray from the right path
ऐ रसूल क्या तुमने उन लोगों के हाल पर नज़र नहीं की जिन्हें किताबे ख़ुदा का कुछ हिस्सा दिया गया था और फिर शैतान और बुतों का कलमा पढ़ने लगे और जिन लोगों ने कुफ़्र इख्तेयार किया है उनकी निस्बत कहने लगे कि ये तो ईमान लाने वालों से ज्यादा राहे रास्त पर हैं
Did you not see those who received a portion of the Book that they believe in idols and the devil and say regarding the disbelievers that they are more rightly guided than the Muslims
ऐ रसूल तुम कह दो कि ऐ अहले किताब तुम अपने दीन में नाहक़ ज्यादती न करो और न उन लोगों अपने बुज़ुगों की नफ़सियानी ख्वाहिशों पर चलो जो पहले ख़ुद ही गुमराह हो चुके और अपने साथ और भी बहुतेरों को गुमराह कर छोड़ा और राहे रास्त से दूर भटक गए
Say O People given the Books Do not wrongfully commit injustice in your religion and do not follow the people who earlier went astray and led many others astray and wandered away from the Straight Path
या वह शख़्श जो सीधा बराबर राहे रास्त पर चल रहा हो ऐ रसूल तुम कह दो कि ख़ुदा तो वही है जिसने तुमको नित नया पैदा किया
So is one who walks inverted upon his face more rightly guided or one who walks upright on the Straight Path
और उसको अच्छी बुरी दोनों राहे ं भी दिखा दीं
And did We not guide him to the two elevated things
