The highlighted features of Voluntary Code of Ethics are as follows: (i) Social Media platforms will voluntarily undertake information, education and communication campaigns to build awareness including electoral laws and other related instructions.
(ii) सोशल मीडिया मंचों ने भारत निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा रिपोर्ट किये जाने वाले मामलों पर त्वरित कार्रवाई करने के लिए उच्च प्राथमिकताओं वाला एक समर्पित शिकायत निवारण चैनल तैयार किया है।
(ii) Social Media platforms have created a high priority dedicated grievance redressal channel for taking expeditions action on the cases reported by the ECI.
(iii) सोशल मीडिया मंचों और भारत निर्वाचन आयोग ने एक अधिसूचना व्यवस्था तैयार की है, जिसके माध्यम से भारत निर्वाचन आयोग जनप्रतिनिधित्व कानून 1951 की धारा 126 और अन्य निर्वाचन नियमों के संभावित उल्लंघन के बारे में सूचना संबंधित मंचों को उपलब्ध करा सकता है।
(iii) Social Media Platforms and ECI have developed a notification mechanism by this ECI can notify the relevant platforms of potential violations of Section 126 of the R.P. Act, 1951 and other electoral laws.
(iv) माननीय उच्चतम न्यायालय के निर्देशों के अनुसार सोशल मीडिया मंच यह सुनिश्चित करेंगे कि उनके यहां से प्रसारित होने वाले सभी राजनीतिक विज्ञापन मीडिया प्रमाणन एवं निगरानी समितियों द्वारा पूर्व प्रमाणित किये जायेंगे।
(iv) Platforms will ensure that all political advertisements on their platforms are pre-certified from the Media Certification and Monitoring Committees as per the directions of Honble Supreme Court.
