कोई बात उसकी ज़बान पर नहीं आती मगर एक निगेहबान उसके पास तैयार रहता है
Not a word does he utter but there is a sentinel by him, ready (to note it).

Not a word he uttereth but there is with him a watcher ready.
यदि वे तुम्हें पा जाएँ तो तुम्हारे शत्रु हो जाएँ और कष्ट पहुँचाने के लिए तुमपर हाथ और ज़बान चलाएँ। वे तो चाहते है कि काश ! तुम भी इनकार करनेवाले हो जाओ
Should they come upon you, they will be enemies Unto you and will stretch out against you their hands and their tongues with evil; and fain would they that ye should disbelieve.
यदि वे तुम्हें पा जाएँ तो तुम्हारे शत्रु हो जाएँ और कष्ट पहुँचाने के लिए तुमपर हाथ और ज़बान चलाएँ। वे तो चाहते है कि काश ! तुम भी इनकार करनेवाले हो जाओ
Should they gain the upper hand over you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you with evil, and they desire that you should disbelieve.
तो हमने इस क़ुरान को तुम्हारी ज़बान में (इसलिए) आसान कर दिया है ताकि ये लोग नसीहत पकड़ें तो
So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful.

तू उसे शीघ्र पाने के लिए उसके प्रति अपनी ज़बान को न चला
Stir not thy tongue herewith to hasten it.
(ऐ रसूल) वही के जल्दी याद करने वास्ते अपनी ज़बान को हरकत न दो

हमने उसको उसी तरह अरबी ज़बान का कुरान नाज़िल फ़रमाया और उसमें अज़ाब के तरह-तरह के वायदे बयान किए ताकि ये लोग परहेज़गार बनें या उनके मिजाज़ में इबरत पैदा कर दे
