श्री टम्टा ने कहा कि भारत सरकार ने एक छत्र योजना पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र वस्त्र संवर्धन योजना (एनईआरटीपीएस) के तहत पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र के लिए एक परियोजना आधारित रणनीति को मंजूरी दी है, ताकि इस क्षेत्र में रेशम क्षेत्र को बढ़ावा दिया जा सके।
The Minister further said that the projects are expected to contribute additional production of 2285 MT raw silk during the project period and 1100 MT silk per annum involving 46094 families, which will generate employment to about 2.30 lakh persons.
मंत्री महोदय ने बताया कि इन परियोजनाओं द्वारा संबंधित अवधि के दौरान 2285 एमटी कच्चे रेशम के अतिरिक्त उत्पादन का योगदान दिए जाने की आशा है और इसके साथ ही 46094 परिवारों की भागीदारी के साथ प्रति वर्ष 1100 एमटी रेशम का उत्पादन होने की आशा है, जिससे लगभग 2.30 लाख लोगों के लिए रोजगार सृजित होंगे।
Improvement over the earlier scheme: The scheme has following improvement over the earlier scheme: (i) The scheme aims to achieve self-sufficiency in silk production by 2022.
पूर्व की योजना के मुकाबले सुधार : इस योजना में पूर्व की योजना के मुकाबले निम्नलिखित सुधार किए गए है : इस योजना का उद्देश्य 2022 तक रेशम उत्पादन में आत्मनिर्भरता हासिल करना है।
To achieve this, production of high grade silk in India will reach 20,650 MTs by 2022 from the current level of 11,326 MTs thereby reducing imports to ero.
