क्या तुमने उन लोगों को नहीं देखा जिन्होंने ऐसे लोगों को मित्र बनाया जिनपर अल्लाह का प्रकोप हुआ है? वे न तुममें से है और न उनमें से। और वे जानते-बूझते झूठी बात पर क़सम खाते है
Have you not regarded those who befriend a people at whom Allah is wrathful? They neither belong to you, nor to them, and they swear false oaths [ that they are with you ] and they know.
क्या तुमने उन लोगों को नहीं देखा जिन्होंने ऐसे लोगों को मित्र बनाया जिनपर अल्लाह का प्रकोप हुआ है? वे न तुममें से है और न उनमें से। और वे जानते-बूझते झूठी बात पर क़सम खाते है
Have you not seen those who befriend a people with whom Allah is wroth? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear falsely while they know.
उसका ज़ोर तो बस उन्हीं लोगों पर चलता है जो उसे अपना मित्र बनाते है और उस (अल्लाह) के साथ साझी ठहराते है
His authority is only over those who befriend him and those who are in respect of Him associators.

ऐ ईमान लानेवालो ! तुमसे पहले जिनको किताब दी गई थी, जिन्होंने तुम्हारे धर्म को हँसी-खेल बना लिया है, उन्हें और इनकार करनेवालों को अपना मित्र न बनाओ। और अल्लाह का डर रखों यदि तुम ईमानवाले हो
O you who believe! Do not befriend those who take your religion in mockery and as a sport, be they from among those who were given the Scripture before you, or the disbelievers. And obey God, if you are believers.
ऐ ईमान लानेवालो ! अपने बाप और अपने भाइयों को अपने मित्र न बनाओ यदि ईमान के मुक़ाबले में कुफ़्र उन्हें प्रिय हो। तुममें से जो कोई उन्हें अपना मित्र बनाएगा, तो ऐसे ही लोग अत्याचारी होंगे
O you who have faith! Do not befriend your fathers and brothers if they prefer faithlessness to faith. Those of you who befriend them — it is they who are the wrongdoers.
जो ईमानवालों को छोड़कर इनकार करनेवालों को अपना मित्र बनाते है। क्या उन्हें उनके पास प्रतिष्ठा की तलाश है? प्रतिष्ठा तो सारी की सारी अल्लाह ही के लिए है
Those who leave the Muslims to befriend the disbelievers; do they seek honour from them? Then (know that) undoubtedly all honour is for Allah.
