Then We exchanged in place of the bad condition good until they increased and prospered and said Our fathers also were touched with hardship and ease So We seized them suddenly while they did not perceive

and then We changed their hardship into ease until they grew affluent and said Our fathers had also experienced adversity and prosperity then We seized them suddenly unawares
तो ख़ुदा ने उसे दुनिया और आख़ेरत (दोनों) के अज़ाब में गिरफ्तार किया
Allah therefore seized him, in the punishment of this world and the Hereafter.
और हम जो मौजिज़ा उन को दिखाते थे वह दूसरे से बढ़ कर होता था और आख़िर हमने उनको अज़ाब में गिरफ्तार किया ताकि ये लोग बाज़ आएँ
And We showed them not a sign except that it was greater than its sister, and We seized them with affliction that perhaps they might return [ to faith ].
और हम जो मौजिज़ा उन को दिखाते थे वह दूसरे से बढ़ कर होता था और आख़िर हमने उनको अज़ाब में गिरफ्तार किया ताकि ये लोग बाज़ आएँ
And all the signs We showed them were always greater than the earlier ones; and We seized them with calamities, so that they may return.

And not a sign We showed them, but it was greater than its sister sign; and We seized them with chastisement, that haply they should return.
और हम जो मौजिज़ा उन को दिखाते थे वह दूसरे से बढ़ कर होता था और आख़िर हमने उनको अज़ाब में गिरफ्तार किया ताकि ये लोग बाज़ आएँ
And not an Ayah (sign, etc.) We showed them but it was greater than its fellow, and We seized them with torment, in order that they might turn [ from their polytheism to Allah's Religion (Islamic Monotheism) ].

Every Sign that We showed them was greater than its predecessor; and then We seized them with Our chastisement so that they may return (to the Right Way).
और वह बिल्कुल बेख़बर थे और अगर उन बस्तियों के रहने वाले ईमान लाते और परहेज़गार बनते तो हम उन पर आसमान व ज़मीन की बरकतों (के दरवाजे) ख़ोल देते मगर (अफसोस) उन लोगों ने (हमारे पैग़म्बरों को) झूठलाया तो हमने भी उनके करतूतों की बदौलत उन को (अज़ाब में) गिरफ्तार किया
