मुख्य विशेषताएं निम्न हैं: जनवरी-अप्रैल, 2017 के दौरान घरेलू विमान सेवाओं का इस्तेमाल करने वाले यात्रियों की संख्या 364.13 लाख रही जबकि पिछले वर्ष इसी अवधि में यह संख्या 309.35 लाख थी। ऐसे में इस अवधि में यात्रियों की संख्या में 17.71 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि दर्ज की गई है।
Following are the salient features: Passengers carried by domestic airlines during January-April, 2017 were 364.13 lakhs as against 309.35 lakhs during the corresponding period of previous year thereby registering a growth of 17.71.

नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्रालय वर्ष 2017 में घरेलू विमान कंपनियों का प्रदर्शन विभिन्न विमान कंपनियों द्वारा जून 2017 के प्रस्तुत किये गये आवागमन आकड़ों का विश्लेषण किया गया है, जिसकी मुख्य विशेषताएं निम्नवत हैं: जनवरी से जून 2017 तक घरेलू विमान कंपनियों के माध्यम से 561.55 लाख यात्रियों ने यात्रा की, जबकि पिछले वर्ष इसी अवधि के दौरान 475.79 लाख यात्रियों ने यात्रा की थी।
