और उनके माल और उनकी औलाद (की कसरत) तुम्हें ताज्जुब (हैरत) में न डाले (क्योकि) ख़ुदा तो बस ये चाहता है कि दुनिया में भी उनके माल और औलाद की बदौलत उनको अज़ाब में मुब्तिला करे और उनकी जान निकालने लगे तो उस वक्त भी ये काफ़िर (के काफ़िर ही) रहें

और उनके माल और उनकी औलाद तुम्हें मोहित न करें। अल्लाह तो बस यह चाहता है कि उनके द्वारा उन्हें संसार में यातना दे और उनके प्राण इस दशा में निकलें कि वे काफ़िर हों
Had Allah willed He would have made you all one nation, but He sends astray whomever He wills and guides whomever He wills; and you will certainly be questioned regarding your deeds.
और अगर ख़ुदा चाहता तो तुम सबको एक ही (किस्म के) गिरोह बना देता मगर वह तो जिसको चाहता है गुमराही में छोड़ देता है और जिसकी चाहता है हिदायत करता है और जो कुछ तुम लोग दुनिया में किया करते थे उसकी बाज़ पुर्स (पुछ गछ) तुमसे ज़रुर की जाएगी

अब जो कोई चाहे इससे नसीहत हासिल करे,
That is the Day, the truth, so whosoever wills takes a way to his Lord.
वह दिन बरहक़ है तो जो शख़्श चाहे अपने परवरदिगार की बारगाह में (अपना) ठिकाना बनाए
That is the true day; so whosoever wills takes unto his Lord a resort.
वह दिन बरहक़ है तो जो शख़्श चाहे अपने परवरदिगार की बारगाह में (अपना) ठिकाना बनाए
