Following citizen consultations with more than 2.4 million people, 100 cities are now implementing concepts such as smart roads, smart solid waste management, solar rooftops and smart schools, to name a few.

गैर विद्युत उपयोगों की चर्चा करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि कृषि विश्वविद्यालयों तथा आईसीएआर के सहयोग से विकसित परमाणु कृषि एक उदाहरण है। अन्य उदाहरणों में परमाणु औषधि जल स्वच्छता के लिए कम लागत का समाधान शहरी कचरा प्रबंधन तथा खाद्य संरक्षण कार्यक्रम हैं।
The seminar on Gandhian Thoughts and Sanitation included addresses on topics such as appropriate technologies in rural sanitation, organic waste management, and preventive sanitation linked with Nai Talim and industrialization: Gandhis concept of Swachh evam Swawalambhi Sankul.
संगोष्ठी में ग्रामीण इलाकों में साफ-सफाई के लिए सही प्रौद्योगिकी, जैव कचरा प्रबंधन तथा नई तालीम और औद्योगिकीकरण: स्वच्छ एवं स्वालंबी संकुल की गांधीवादी अवधारणा से संबंधित निवारक स्वच्छता जैसे विषयों पर व्याख्यान आयोजित किए गए।
