Surely these people have passed by that habitation on which was rained an evil rain have they not seen its ruins But they do not expect another life in the Hereafter
और उस बस्ती पर से तो वे हो आए है जिसपर बुरी वर्षा बरसी तो क्या वे उसे देखते नहीं रहे हैं नहीं बल्कि वे दोबारा जीवित होकर उठने की आशा ही नहीं रखते रहे है

हमने उनको ख़ूब सत्यानास कर छोड़ा और ये लोग कुफ्फ़ारे मक्का उस बस्ती पर हो आए हैं जिस पर पत्थरों की बुरी बारिश बरसाई गयी तो क्या उन लोगों ने इसको देखा न होगा मगर बात ये है कि ये लोग मरने के बाद जी उठने की उम्मीद नहीं रखते फिर क्यों ईमान लाएँ
Thereafter We raised up many a generation and a long time passed You were then not even present among the people of Midian to rehearse Our verses to them But it is We Who are sending news about that
लेकिन हमने बहुत सी नस्लें उठाईं और उनपर बहुत समय बीत गया और न तुम मदयनवालों में रहते थे कि उन्हें हमारी आयतें सुना रहे होते किन्तु रसूलों को भेजनेवाले हम ही रहे है
They will be told Eat and drink with good cheer as a reward for the good deeds you did in the days that have passed by
जो कारगुज़ारियाँ तुम गुज़िशता अय्याम में करके आगे भेज चुके हो उसके सिले में मज़े से खाओ पियो
And indeed they have passed by the township whereon was rained the fatal rain Can it be that they have not seen it Nay but they hope for no resurrection
हमने उनको ख़ूब सत्यानास कर छोड़ा और ये लोग कुफ्फ़ारे मक्का उस बस्ती पर हो आए हैं जिस पर पत्थरों की बुरी बारिश बरसाई गयी तो क्या उन लोगों ने इसको देखा न होगा मगर बात ये है कि ये लोग मरने के बाद जी उठने की उम्मीद नहीं रखते फिर क्यों ईमान लाएँ

And the Unbelievers must indeed have passed by the town on which was rained a shower of evil did they not then see it with their own eyes But they fear not the Resurrection
हमने उनको ख़ूब सत्यानास कर छोड़ा और ये लोग कुफ्फ़ारे मक्का उस बस्ती पर हो आए हैं जिस पर पत्थरों की बुरी बारिश बरसाई गयी तो क्या उन लोगों ने इसको देखा न होगा मगर बात ये है कि ये लोग मरने के बाद जी उठने की उम्मीद नहीं रखते फिर क्यों ईमान लाएँ
