उपराष्ट्रपति ने देश के विकास के लिए शांति को पहली शर्त बताते हुए कहा कि लोकतंत्र में हिंसा की कोई गुंजाइश नहीं है और मतदान बुलेट से अधिक शक्तिशाली होता है।
Stating that peace was the foremost prerequisite for development of the country, he said there was no scope for violence in democracy and asserted that ballot was more powerful than bullet.
श्री नायडू ने कहा कि हिंसा का लोकतंत्र में कोई स्थान नहीं है और बैलेट बुलेट की तुलना में अधिक शक्तिशाली है।
Shri Naidu said that violence has no place in democracy and the Ballot is more powerful than Bullet.

उन्होंने युवाओं से हिंसा में लिप्त लोगों का समर्थन नहीं करने के साथ-साथ जीवन में सकारात्मक और रचनात्मक दृष्टिकोण अपनाने का भी आह्वान किया।

श्री नायडू ने कहा कि लोकतंत्र में हिंसा के लिए कोई जगह नहीं है और युवाओं से नकारात्मकता को दूर करने और विकास की शक्तियों में शामिल होने के लिए कहा।
Shri Naidu said that there is no place for violence in a democracy and asked youth to shun negativism and join the forces of growth.
यह कहते हुए कि आजादी के सात दशकों के बाद भी लैंगिक भेदभाव, महिलाओं के खिलाफ अत्याचार और हिंसा की खबरें आती हैं, उप राष्ट्रपति ने जोर देकर कहा कि ऐसी सामाजिक बुराइयों के प्रति शून्य सहिष्णुता होनी चाहिए।
