Finance Commission The Fifteenth Finance Commission meets representatives of RLBs of Goa The 15th Finance Commission headed by Chairman, Shri N.K. Singh alongwith its Members and senior officials met today with the representatives of the Rural Local Bodies of Goa.
दूसरे राज्य वित्त आयोग ने दिसम्बर, 2007 में अपनी रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत की, परन्तु सरकार ने इस रिपोर्ट की अनुशंसाओं को स्वीकार नहीं किया।
Second State Finance Commission submitted its report in December, 2007, but Government had not accepted the recommendations of the Second State Finance Commission.
मूल अनुदान 120 करोड़ रुपये में से गोवा को 31 मार्च, 2019 तक केवल 50 करोड़ रुपये मिले है (14वें वित्त आयोग द्वारा अनुशंसित कुल अनुदान का मात्र 42 प्रतिशत)।

वित्त आयोग ने यह पाया: गोवा की आबादी 1.459 मिलियन है और यह आबादी की दृष्टि से भारत का चौथा सबसे छोटा राज्य (सिक्किम, मिजोरम एवं अरुणाचल प्रदेश के बाद) है।
The Commission observed that: Goa has a population of 1.459 million, making it India's fourth smallest State in terms of Population (after Sikkim, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh).
वित्त आयोग ने निम्नलिखित तथ्यों की सराहना की: वर्ष 2017-18 में गोवा का स्वयं कर राजस्वजीएसडीपी अनुपात 6.7 प्रतिशत आंका गया था, जो सभी राज्यों में छठा सर्वाधिक स्तर है।
The Commission was appreciative of the fact that: In 2017-18, the Own Tax Revenue to GSDP of the State was 6.7, which is sixth highest among all States.
वित्त आयोग ने निम्नलिखित पर चिंता जताई: पिछले कुछ महीनों से गोवा स्वयं कर राजस्व की धीमी वृद्धि दर की समस्या से जूझ रहा है।
The Finance Commission was concerned about: In the recent past, Goa has been facing the problem of slower own tax revenue growth.
यही नहीं, राज्य सरकार ने 190 ग्राम पंचायतों और 14 शहरी स्थानीय निकायों (यूएलबी) के रहने के बावजूद अब तक गठित दो एसएफसी (राज्य वित्त आयोग) में से किसी भी एसएफसी की सिफारिशों को लागू नहीं किया है।
The State Government has been irregular in constitution of State Finance Commission and not implemented recommendations of any two SFCs so far constituted in spite of having 190 Village Panchayats and 14 ULBs.
