अगरचे वह अपने गुनाहों की उज्र व ज़रूर माज़ेरत पढ़ा करता रहे
even though he might make up excuses
और उनको इजाज़त दी जाएगी कि कुछ उज्र माअज़ेरत कर सकें
nor shall they be given permission so that they can apologize
जिस दिन ज़ालिमों को उनका उज्र (सफ़ाई पेश करना) कुछ भी लाभ न पहुँचाएगा, बल्कि उनके लिए तो लानत है और उनके लिए बुरा घर है
A Day whereon their excuse will not Profit the wrong-doers; and theirs Will be the curse and theirs the evil Abode.
और जिस दिन हम एक उम्मत में से (उसके पैग़म्बरों को) गवाह बनाकर क़ब्रों से उठा खड़ा करेगे फिर तो काफिरों को न (बात करने की) इजाज़त दी जाएगी और न उनका उज्र (जवाब) ही सुना जाएगा
And (bethink you of) the day when we raise up of every nation a witness, then there is no leave for disbelievers, nor are they allowed to make amends.

और जिस दिन हम एक उम्मत में से (उसके पैग़म्बरों को) गवाह बनाकर क़ब्रों से उठा खड़ा करेगे फिर तो काफिरों को न (बात करने की) इजाज़त दी जाएगी और न उनका उज्र (जवाब) ही सुना जाएगा
And [ mention ] the Day when We will resurrect from every nation a witness. Then it will not be permitted to the disbelievers [ to apologize or make excuses ], nor will they be asked to appease [ Allah ].
और जिस दिन हम एक उम्मत में से (उसके पैग़म्बरों को) गवाह बनाकर क़ब्रों से उठा खड़ा करेगे फिर तो काफिरों को न (बात करने की) इजाज़त दी जाएगी और न उनका उज्र (जवाब) ही सुना जाएगा
And bewore a Day whereon We will raise up from each community a witness, then those who have disbelieved will not be given leave, nor they will be permitted to please Allah.
इससे डर कर गांव के लोग बिना उज्र के कर देने लगे।
Frightened at this, everyone paid the tax without a murmur.
जिस दिन ज़ालिमों को उनका उज्र (सफ़ाई पेश करना) कुछ भी लाभ न पहुँचाएगा, बल्कि उनके लिए तो लानत है और उनके लिए बुरा घर है
On that Day no excuse will benefit the harmdoers. Theirs shall be the curse, and an evil lodging.
और जिस दिन हम एक उम्मत में से (उसके पैग़म्बरों को) गवाह बनाकर क़ब्रों से उठा खड़ा करेगे फिर तो काफिरों को न (बात करने की) इजाज़त दी जाएगी और न उनका उज्र (जवाब) ही सुना जाएगा
On the Day We shall raise up from every nation a witness, then permission will not be given to the unbelievers, nor shall they be allowed to make restitution.
