Whosoever strives (in the cause of Allah ) does so to his own good. Surely Allah stands in no need of anyone in the whole Universe.
और जो व्यक्ति (अल्लाह के मार्ग में) संघर्ष करता है वह तो स्वयं अपने ही लिए संघर्ष करता है। निश्चय ही अल्लाह सारे संसार से निस्पृह है
Why did they not produce four witnesses? Since they (the slanderers) have not produced witnesses! Then with Allah they are the liars.
और जिन लोगों ने तोहमत लगायी थी अपने दावे के सुबूत में चार गवाह क्यों न पेश किए फिर जब इन लोगों ने गवाह न पेश किये तो ख़ुदा के नज़दीक यही लोग झूठे हैं

आख़िर वे इसपर चार गवाह क्यों न लाए? अब जबकि वे गवाह नहीं लाए, तो अल्लाह की स्पष्ट में वही झूठे है

और जिन लोगों ने तोहमत लगायी थी अपने दावे के सुबूत में चार गवाह क्यों न पेश किए फिर जब इन लोगों ने गवाह न पेश किये तो ख़ुदा के नज़दीक यही लोग झूठे हैं

Will they not then ponder on the Qur' an? If it had been from other than Allah they would have found therein much incongruity.
तो क्या ये लोग क़ुरान में भी ग़ौर नहीं करते और (ये नहीं ख्याल करते कि) अगर ख़ुदा के सिवा किसी और की तरफ़ से (आया) होता तो ज़रूर उसमें बड़ा इख्तेलाफ़ पाते

क्या वे क़ुरआन में सोच-विचार नहीं करते? यदि यह अल्लाह के अतिरिक्त किसी और की ओर से होता, तो निश्चय ही वे इसमें बहुत-सी बेमेल बातें पाते
With Allah rests guidance to the straight path, and some of the paths are devious, and had He wished He would have guided you all.
(उसके अलावा) और चीज़े भी पैदा करेगा जिनको तुम नहीं जानते हो और (ख़ुश्क व तर में) सीधी राह (की हिदायत तो ख़ुदा ही के ज़िम्मे हैं और बाज़ रस्ते टेढे हैं
With Allah rests guidance to the straight path, and some of the paths are devious, and had He wished He would have guided you all.
अल्लाह के लिए ज़रूरी है उचित एवं अनुकूल मार्ग दिखाना और कुछ मार्ग टेढ़े भी है। यदि वह चाहता तो तुम सबको अवश्य सीधा मार्ग दिखा देता
With it Allah guides him who will follow His pleasure into the ways of safety and brings them out of utter darkness into light by His will and guides them to the right path.
जिसके द्वारा अल्लाह उस व्यक्ति को जो उसकी प्रसन्नता का अनुगामी है, सलामती की राहें दिखा रहा है और अपनी अनुज्ञा से ऐसे लोगों को अँधेरों से निकालकर उजाले की ओर ला रहा है और उन्हें सीधे मार्ग पर चला रहा है
