O you who believe! Many of the rabbis and priests consume people's wealth illicitly, and hinder from God's path. Those who hoard gold and silver, and do not spend them in God's cause, inform them of a painful punishment.
ऐ ईमान लानेवालो ! अवश्य ही बहुत-से धर्मज्ञाता और संसार-त्यागी संत ऐसे है जो लोगो को माल नाहक़ खाते है और अल्लाह के मार्ग से रोकते है, और जो लोग सोना और चाँदी एकत्र करके रखते है और उन्हें अल्लाह के मार्ग में ख़र्च नहीं करते, उन्हें दुखद यातना की शुभ-सूचना दे दो
They shelter behind their oath, and thus hinder their own selves and others from the Path of Allah. Evil indeed is what they do.
उन्होंने अपनी क़समों को ढाल बना रखा है, इस प्रकार वे अल्लाह के मार्ग से रोकते है। निश्चय ही बुरा है जो वे कर रहे है
Why should God not punish them when they hinder people from entering the sacred mosque? They are not its true patrons. Only the righteous ones are its patrons, but most of the pagans do not know.
और जब ये लोग लोगों को मस्जिदुल हराम (ख़ान ए काबा की इबादत) से रोकते है तो फिर उनके लिए कौन सी बात बाक़ी है कि उन पर अज़ाब न नाज़िल करे और ये लोग तो ख़ानाए काबा के मुतवल्ली भी नहीं (फिर क्यों रोकते है) इसके मुतवल्ली तो सिर्फ परहेज़गार लोग हैं मगर इन काफ़िरों में से बहुतेरे नहीं जानते
