A houseboat is a boat that has been designed or modified to be used primarily for regular dwelling. Most houseboats are not motorized, as they are usually moored or kept stationary, fixed at a berth, and often tethered to land to provide utilities. However, many are capable of operation under their own power.

गृहनौका या हाउसबोट (houseboat) ऐसी नौका होती है जिसको घर का रूप दिया गया हो। अधिकांश गृहनौकाएँ तट के पास ही रहती हैं, जहाँ से इन्हें पेयजल, विद्युत, खाद्य-वस्तुएँ, पकाने के लिए इंधन, इत्यादि प्राप्त होता है। कई गृहनौकाओं में जल पर यातायात करने की क्षमता भी होती है। भारत में जम्मू और कश्मीर, केरल और अन्य राज्यों में गृहनौकाएँ देखी जाती हैं।
