जब किसी संख्या या अंक में एक या एक से अधिक संख्या या अंक को मिलाया जाता है तो उसे जोड़ या योग कहते हैं। जोड़ को + चिह्न से प्रदर्शित किया जाता है। इस चिह्न को धन चिह्न कहते हैं। जोड़ दो प्रकार से होते है ,धनात्मक तथा ऋणात्मक । उदाहरणः
