सहज का शाब्दिक अर्थ है - 'एक साथ उत्पन्न' या 'बिना परिश्रम के प्राकृतिक रूप से उत्पन्न' है यह शब्द भारतीय तथा तिब्बती बौद्ध दर्शन में महत्वपूर्ण है। 'सहज' दर्शन का आरम्भ ८वीं शताब्दी में बंगाल में हुआ। यह 'सहजिया सिद्ध नामक बौद्ध योगियों में प्रचलित था।
Sahaja means spontaneous enlightenment in Indian and Tibetan Buddhist spirituality. Sahaja practices first arose in Bengal during the 8th century among yogis called Sahajiya siddhas.
