- कुंभ । घड़ा ।
- प्राचीन काल का एक प्रकार तका मानपात्र जिसमें दो अंजुसली या आठ पल आता था ।
- चक्की के ऊपर के पाट में लगी हुई वह लकड़ी जिसके छेद मे कौली रहती है । जूआ न हाने पर यह लकड़ा ऊपर के पाट के छेद में जहाँ रहती है ।
- कुदाल, वसुले आदि का वह छेद जिसमें बेंट लगाइ जाता है ।
- किसी चीज में बनाया हुआ छेद जिसमे कुछ जड़ा जाय ।
- अन्न का एक मान जो सोलह सर का होता है ।
- साधारण छेद ।
- अन्नादि नापने का एक पात्र । विशेष— इसमें पाव भर अन्न आता है । यह लकड़ी, मिट्टी या धातु का बना होता है । इससे तरल पदार्थ भी नापे जाते है ।
- एक प्रकार का मीठा निर्यास । विशेष—यह निर्यास इटली और एशिया माइनर आदि देशों के कुछ विशिष्ट वृक्षों में से छेब लगाकर निकाला जाता है; अथवा कभी कभी उन वृक्षों पर कुछ कीड़ों आदि की कई क्रियाओं से उत्पन्न होना है और जो पीछे से कई रासायनिक क्रियाओं से शुद्ध करके औषधि के रूप में काम मे लाया जाता है । भारत के कई प्रकार के बाँसों तथा दूसरे अनेक वृक्षों पर भी यह कभी कभी पाया जाता है । यह रेचक होता है और इसके व्यवहार के उपरांत मनुष्य विशेष निर्बल नहीं होता । देखने में यह पीले रंग का, पारदर्शी और हलका होता है और प्रायः बहुत महँगा मिलता है ।
