Macaws are a group of New World parrots that are long-tailed and often colorful. They are popular in aviculture or as companion parrots, although there are conservation concerns about several species in the wild.

பஞ்ச வண்ணக்கிளி அல்லது ஐவண்ணக்கிளி அல்லது பஞ்ச வர்ணக்கிளி (Macaws) என்பது நீண்ட வால் கொண்ட, பல வண்ணங்கள் கொண்ட பெருங்கிளி. பஞ்ச வண்ணக்கிளி தாயகமாக மெக்சிக்கோ, மத்திய அமெரிக்கா, தென் அமெரிக்கா ஆகிய இடங்களைக் கொண்டது. பல இனங்கள் காடுகளில் குறிப்பாக மழைக்காடுகளில் வசிக்கின்றன. ஏனையவை கானகங்களில் அல்லது புல்நிலம் போன்ற இடங்களில் வசிக்கின்றன.
