In economics, a commodity is an economic good, usually a resource, that specifically has full or substantial fungibility: that is, the market treats instances of the good as equivalent or nearly so with no regard to who produced them.

விளைபொருள்(Commodity) பொருளியலில் என்பது தேவைகளையும் வேண்டியவைகளையும் பூர்த்தி செய்ய உற்பத்தி செய்யப்பட்டு வணிகச் சந்தைக்கு வரும் பொருட்களாகும். விளைபொருள் பண்டங்களின் விலை சந்தை நிலவரத்தைப் பொருத்தே நிர்ணயம் செய்யப்படுகிறது. விளைபொருளின் விற்பனை உடனடி(spot) வணிகம் மற்றும் சார்பிய(derivative) வணிகமாக நடக்கிறது.
