यंत्र हे उर्जेचा वापर करून इष्ट काम करून घेण्याचे उपकरण होय. या उपकरणास एक किंवा अधिक भाग असतात. विविध धर्मात कर्मकांडाचा भाग म्हणून काही विशिष्ट द्विमितीय आकृती किंवा कोरीव शिल्प यांना पण यंत्र असे संबोधले जाते.

A machine is a physical system that uses power to apply forces and control movement to perform an action.
