Inventory or stock refers to the goods and materials that a business holds for the ultimate goal of resale, production or utilisation.

किसी व्यापार या उद्योग में लगने वाले समानों एवं उनकी सूची को माल-सूची' या इन्वेण्टरी (Inventory) कहते हैं। एकाउंटिंग में इसे पूंजी (असेट) की तरह माना जाता है। उद्योग में लगने वाले सामानों की मात्रा का हर समय उचित स्तर पर बनाये रखी जानी चाहिये ताकी एक तरफ उनकी अनुपलब्धता के कारण काम न रूके और दूसरी तरफ अधिक पूंजी भी अनावश्यक सामानों के रूप में फम्सी न रहे। इसे माल नियंत्रण कहते हैं।
