রাত বা রাত্রি সময়ের একটি অংশ যা দিগন্তের সমান্তরাল থেকে সূর্য ডুবে যাবার পর থেকে শুরু হয়। গোধূলী লগ্ন বা ঈষৎ অন্ধকার হবার মাধ্যমে রাত তার আবির্ভাবের কথা বিশ্ববাসীকে জানান দেয়। রাতের বিপরীত হচ্ছে দিন। রাত শুরু এবং রাত শেষ হবার ক্ষেত্রে কিছু কিছু উপাদান নির্ভরশীল। তন্মধ্যে - ঋতু, অক্ষাংশ, দ্রাঘিমাংশ, সময়রেখা অন্যতম।
