ਰਾਤ (Night) ਆਥਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਵੇਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਵਕਤ ਦੀ ਮੁਦਤ ਹੈ। ਸੂਰਜ ਦੇ ਡੁੱਬ ਜਾਣ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਤ ਪਈ ਗਈ ਮੰਨੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਦੁਮੇਲ ਤੋਂ ਸੂਰਜ ਫਿਰ ਦਿਸਣ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਰਾਤ ਮੁੱਕ ਗਈ ਮੰਨੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਉਲਟ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਿਨ ਹੈ। ਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਵਕਤ ਦੇ ਆਦਿ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤ ਦੇ ਨੁਕਤੇ ਕਈ ਕਾਰਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੁਨਿਆਦ ਤੇ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
