किसी दूसरे स्वामित्व की वस्तु के अल्पावधि उपभोग के लिए जो धनराशि दी जाती है उसे उस वस्तु का किराया (Rent) कहते हैं। दूसरे शब्दों में, किसी के द्वारा कुछ समय के लिए कोई सुविधा या किसी वस्तु का उपभोग करने या किसी कार्य को करवाने के लिए जो धनराशि खर्च की जाती है उसे उस वस्तु का किराया कहतें है।
