நாளிதழ் என்பது ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் அச்சிட்டு வெளியிடப்படும் செய்தி இதழ் ஆகும். தற்காலத்தில் செய்தியல்லாத பிறவற்றையும் முதன்மை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டு நாளிதழ்கள் வெளியிடப்படுகின்றன ஆயினும், மிகப் பெரும்பாலான நாளிதழ்கள் செய்தி இதழ்களாகவே உள்ளன. எனவே இதை செய்தித்தாள்கள் என்றும், நாள்தோறும் வெளியிடப்படுவதால் தினசரிகள் (Dailies) என்றும் அழைப்பதுண்டு.
