मनोविकार किसी व्यक्ति के मानसिक स्वास्थ्य की वह स्थिति है जिसे किसी स्वस्थ व्यक्ति से तुलना करने पर 'सामान्य' नहीं कहा जाता। स्वस्थ व्यक्तियों की तुलना में मनोरोगों से ग्रस्त व्यक्तियों का व्यवहार असामान्‍य अथवा दुरनुकूली निर्धारित किया जाता है और जिसमें महत्‍वपूर्ण व्‍यथा अथवा असमर्थता अन्‍तर्ग्रस्‍त होती है। इन्हें मनोरोग, मानसिक रोग, मानसिक बीमारी अथवा मानसिक विकार भी कहते हैं।
