'सं' म्हणजे स्वर, 'गी' म्हणजे गीत आणि 'त' म्हणजे ताल होय.संगीत कला ही सर्व कलामध्ये श्रेष्ठ कला मानली जाते.संगीतामधून आपण आपले भावना व्यक्त करू शकतो. जेव्हा आपण आनंदीत असतो तेव्हा संगीतातला शब्द आपल्याला समजतो पण जेव्हा आपण दुखात असतो तेव्हा त्या संगीतातल्या शब्दाचा अर्थ समजतो.संगीत हे ईश्वराने दिलेली एक देन आहे.आपल्या मनातील भावना ह्या कदाचित संगीतानेच व्यक्त होऊ शकतात.संगीत आयुष्याला प्रेरणा देते.एकांतात स्वतःला ओळखण्यासाठीचा एकमेव मार्ग म्हणजे संगीत होय.
