In sentences me kya antar hai (Meaning ke hisab se).

Both are appropriate
There is a difference in tense.
The speaker must choose the sentence in accordance with the the tense that he intends to use.

Consider this situation.
A: Raju says he is hungry.
B: Why? I had kept rice for him along wtih Dal and Sabji. Did he not eat the rice?

Now consider this situation.
A: Raju does not like the rice which you kept for him.
B: Is it so? Has he not eaten the rice?
