1) I know how to make a line bold/underlined/in italics.How can I apply the strikeout character on a word or phrase?
By strikeout I mean a thin horizontal line across the word?
2)How do I put a Tick mark for "correct" against a line ? How do I put a small cross to indicate "incorrect"?
I saw someone who had done this before in this forum.
Which html tag will I have to use for this? Right now I use strong ..... /strong for making my text bold when I use the Reply option. I use em ..... /em for italics. I am looking for a list of other tags like this which work here on this forum.
I now have Edit facility after becoming a Moderator.
I can edit other's posts. To save time, I would like to directly mark my corrections on their posts (after taking their permission in advance)
I will not make any change in the posts of those who have not authorised me to do so.

@Sir jiaap mera post kabhi bhi edit kar sakte hai.
Red for incorrect and
Green for correct.

To add a check mark, please use the code "✓" where you would like to add it. The reason it is to be done like this is because it is a special alphabet and not part of a-z or 0-9 or punctuation. Examples:
✓ This line is correct.
✓ This line is correct and marked with a green tick.
To add a cross mark, please use the code "✗" where you would like to add it.
Examples:
✗ This line is incorrect.
✗ This line is incorrect and marked with a red cross.

@Administrator,Thank you so much for this very useful information.
I would be truly grateful to you or anybody who can give me information on more such faciities available and which will work on this site and which will enable me to improve the presentation.
Simply put: I would like a list of html tags within angle braces in addition to em, for emphasis, strong for bold and del for strikeout.
Any additional codes apart from "✗" and "✓" which will be useful here
If there is a web site where this is listed please let me know.
I will of course do my own searching on Google and if I find out anything useful, I will post it here.
Let me test my new knowledge
Correct ✓
Incorrect ✗
Let's see if it works.
