carton ko shaee walay carton say replace ker leya kertay thay. But ab quantity zeyda nikal raheee hai. Yeh problem mein pehlay bhee Sir Khalid

say disucss kar chukka hu.

This problem had arisen even earlier but the number of damaged cartons was less.
Due to the quantity being less, we used to replace the damaged cartons with good cartons.
But now the quantity is becoming more.
I have discussed this problem with Sir Khalid even before.

Sir GV thank you but my one question yeh jo sentence ap nay likha hai ”  number of damaged cartons was less”  yaha was ki jaga were to nahee aye ga . Please advise

No, Nida.
“was” is correct in my translation.

It refers to “number”, (Singular) not “cartons” (plural)

Example:
The number of cartons was less
The numbers printed on the carton were unreadable.
