Have you gone to sleep? If not, then go to sleep.

Dear Sir can’t we write like this.

Did you sleep? If not, then you should sleep now.

@TS
No.

“Did you sleep"is not correct here.
It would be correct if the original sentence had been आप सोए क्या?

I find it highly interesting.
If somebody is sleeping, how can anybody else ask him/her ‘go to sleep’? Considering this point, I guess, the speaker must be asking as to know whether his hearer slept earlier that day. And in that case, having his concern for the latter, he (the speaker) is asking him to sleep. That may be the only possibility that I can see.

In that case, I guess, what is suggested by TS is the only correct way of asking.
(Correct me if I’m wrong)

@DP
Your analysis is correct.
TS’s question in English is correct but it is not a faithful translation of the original question in Hindi.
In Hindi one should ask आप सोए? instead of आप सो गए?

English is worse
put is पुट
but is बट

You can spell the word “fish” by writing “ghoti”

How?

“gh” pronounced as in the word enough इनफ़
“o”  pronounced as in “women विमेन
“ti”  pronounced as in “attentiion अटेन्शन
