Suppose, my friend asked me whether I watched two movies of his choice, say, Krish and Dhoom.

I wanted to answer “Unfortunately, I could watch neither of them”. What would be the correct sentence that I’m supposed to say in idiomatic Hindi?

You mentioned:
“Unfortunately, I could watch neither of them.”
This is correct.

You could also say:
“Unfortunately, I could watch neither of the two.”
“Unfortunately, I could watch neither.” (Here, the movies are implied.)

Thanks.

@titan
While your observations are correct, you have omitted to mention how this is expressed in Hindi.
That is what DP asked.

दुर्भाग्यवश (OR बदकिस्मती से) दोनों में से कोई भी नहीं  देख सकी।

Thank you.
BTW, can I use “absoz” for “दुर्भाग्यवश (OR बदकिस्मती” in the suggested sentence?

Yes, you can use “afsos”. Note the spelling. It’s “afsos”,( अफसोस) not “absoz”
