7. किसी काय का इसलिये बार बार होना जिसमें उसका खूब अभ्यास हो जाय ।
8. (सर के) बालों का पूरी तौर से मूँड़ा जाना ।

घुटना या जानु टांग और जंघा को जोड़ने वाले दो सन्धियों से मिलकर बना होता है। एक संधि ऊर्वस्थि और अन्तर्जंघिका के बीच होता है, जबकि दूसरा ऊर्वस्थि और जानुकूप के बीच। यह मानव शरीर की सबसे बड़ी सन्धि होती है और यह बहुत ही जटिल होता है। घुटना एक संशोधित हिंज सन्धि है, जो लचीलेपन और विस्तार के साथ-साथ मामूली आन्तरिक और बाहरी घूर्णन की अनुमति देता है। घुटना चोट लगने और अस्थिसंध्यार्ति के विकास के लिए दुर्बल है।
