सुरंग (Tunnel) ऐसा भूमिगत मार्ग होता है, जिसे ज़मीन की सतह के नीचे की मिट्टी व पत्थर खोदकर बनाया गया हो। इसमें ऊपर की चट्टान या मिट्टी को हटाया नहीं जाता। सुरंग का निर्माण खोदने, विस्फोट के द्वारा मिट्टी-पत्थर का मलबा बनाकर हटाने, या अन्य किसी विधि से छिद्र बनाकर करा जाता है। आम भाषा में चट्टान या भूखंड तोड़ने के उद्देश्य से विस्फोटक पदार्थ भरने के लिए कोई छेद बनाना भी 'सुरंग लगाना' कहलाता है।

A tunnel is an underground or undersea passageway. It is dug through surrounding soil, earth or rock, or laid under water, and is enclosed except for the portals, commonly at each end. A pipeline is not a tunnel, though some recent tunnels have used immersed tube construction techniques rather than traditional tunnel boring methods.
