ਸਿੱਖ ਰਹਿਤ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਚੱਲਤ ਰਹਿਤ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਇਹ ਹੈ:-

• ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਅਸਥਨ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਹੋਵੇ।
• ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਹੋਵੇ। ਘੱਟੋ ਘੱਟ ਛੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਧਾਰੀ ਸਿੱਘ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਹੋਣ।
• ਹਰ ਦੇਸ਼, ਹਰ ਮਜ਼੍ਹਬ ਤੇ ਹਰ ਜਾਤੀ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਇਸਤਰੀ-ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਛੱਕਣ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਗ੍ਰਹਿਣ ਕਰਨ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਅਸੂਲਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਣ ਕਰੇ।
• ਜੂਠ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਣੀ।
• ਪੰਥ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਛੇਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਵਰਤਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ।
• ਸਿੱਖ ਮਰਦ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਨੱਕ, ਕੰਨ ਨਾ ਛੇਦੇ।
• ਲੜਕੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਮਾਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੁੜੀਮਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਨਾ ਵਰਤੇ।
• ਦਾਜ ਨਾ ਲਵੇ ਨਾ ਦੇਵੇ।
• ਚੋਰੀ-ਯਾਰੀ ਨਾ ਕਰੇ, ਜੂਆ ਨਾ ਖੇਡੇ।
• ਸਿੱਖ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾ ਜਾਂ ਘੁੰਡ ਕੱਢਣਾ ਮਨਾ ਹੈ।
• ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਨਾ ਕਰੇ।
• ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ।
• ਕੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਅਦਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੰਗਣੇ।
• ਪੰਜ ਕਕਾਰ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਰੱਖਣੇ।
• ਪਰ-ਇਸਤਰੀ ਜਾਂ ਪਰ-ਪਰਸ਼ ਦਾ ਗਮਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ।
• ਕੁਠਾ ਮਾਸ ਖਾਣ ਦੀ ਮਨਾਹੀ ਹੈ।

Rehat refers to the rules and traditions which govern the unique Sikh lifestyle and determines correct Sikh orthodoxy and orthopraxy. The Sikh Rehit Maryada is a code of conduct and conventions for Sikhism. The final version of the Rehat Maryada was controversially approved by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Amritsar in 1945. Rehitnāma is a Punjabi term that refers to a genre of Sikh religious literature which expounds upon specifiying an approved way of life for a Sikh.
