कच्चा माल उन मूल द्रव्यों को कहते हैं जिनका उपयोग विविध शिल्पों में उत्पादन कार्य के लिए होता है। उदाहरणार्थ चीनी मिल के लिए गन्ना, वस्त्र उद्योग के लिए रुई, कागज बनाने के लिए बाँस, ईख की छोई तथा सन और लोहे के कारखानों के लिए कच्चा लोहा आदि कच्चा माल है।

As feedstock, the term connotes these materials are bottleneck assets and are required to produce other products.
