I have a confusion in the first sentence mentioned below. Please let me know which is correct.

1 - I need to take leave from 08-08-11 to 16-08-11 as my exam of B.Arch, VI semester is about to start from next week (08-08-2011). Kindly grant me leave for the same.

2 - 1 - I need to take leave from 08-08-11 till 16-08-11 as my exam of B.Arch, VI semester is about to start from next week (08-08-2011). Kindly grant me leave for the same.

Both are okay.
in my way:
I need a leave from 08-08-11 till 16-08-11 as my exam of B.Arch. , VIth semester is scheduled from next week (08-08-11).
Kindly grant me leave for the same.
